Gurmat Summer Camp:
Our annual one week camp is a non-residential sikhi camp, held at Gurdwara Sahib 1 Calderwood Street SE18 6QW which was started by Mr Mand (Uncle ji) in the 1990’s. The camp has ran successfully for over 25 years with a short hiatus due to the global pandemic in 2020 and 2021.

South London Sikh Youth sevadars were handed the reigns of this important seva in 2010. Since then we have seen the camp grow and develop with an increase in use of technology and new resources to help the campers engage with our Guru and the Gurdwara.

Gurmat Oneday Camp:
Our oneday Gurmat Camp was the first of its kind and was first run at Ramgharia Gurdwara Masons Hill London SE18 6EJ. This Gurdwara had never hosted a youth camp before and we were honoured to be granted lead on this seva. The first camp was held in 2012. Campers and sevadars came from all over the UK to support us and experienced a wonderful day. The Gurdwara was alive with young energy and knowledge flowing throughout the building.

Gurmat Winter Camp:
Our first Winter Gurmat Camp was held at Guru Nanak Darbar 61 Mitchell Close Erith Kent DA17 6AA. This Gurdwara has a very well attended Punjabi School and sevadars, and we were delighted to see so many campers attend.

Akhand Kirtan Darbars:
The first Akhand Kirtan Darbar was held at Gurdwara Sahib Woolwich, 1 Calderwood Street SE18 6QW in 2012 and recent Darbars have been held at both Erith and Belvedere Gurdwara and Gurdwara Guru Hargobind Sahib in Dartford.

Inviting young kirtanees from all over the UK, we all sat in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee, and recited shabads in an uplifting and positive atmosphere.

Kirtan Programs
Our sevadars have been truly blessed to be invited to share kirtan, workshops and katha at multiple Gurdwaras, house programs, and University programs. We continue to work closely to provide any assistance that any person may require.

Monthly East London Camps:
Our sevadars were blessed with the opportunity to assist with a group of local East London Sevadars running monthly camps for children of all ages. The camps were run at Singh Sabha London East Seven Kings and Barking. We continue to support such amazing initiatives!

Three Day Camps:
Our sevadars were blessed with the opportunity to assist with Dartford local Sevadars to run some regular camps for children of all ages. The camps were run at Guru Hargobind Sahib Gurdwara Dartford. We continue to support such amazing initiatives!

Working in conjuction with other Sikh Organisations, we have close affiliations with GND Street Seva, Basics of Sikhi, Sikh 2 Inspire, British Organisation of Sikh Students, The Sikh Initiative, Kaurs Corner, Khalsa Foundation and SAS.
